2012 Cadillac SRX comes with a standard 3.6 L V6 as the strongest engine in its segment. It aims to improve the combination of performance, technology, and new reforms to produce a luxury car for the user. Cadillac SRX sales rose to 17.7 percent in mid-2011, and are fairly high record sales.
The new 3.6 L is also known as “LFX” engine code – is one of the engines offered in the Cadillac SRX. This engine provides horsepower up to 16 percent more (308 hp / 230 kW) than the previous V6 engine and provides greater low rpm torque. Response vehicles have been improved in a variety of all conditions, launch from a standstill, around town maneuvering in traffic, passing maneuvers and full-throttle acceleration. This is in accordance with the Hydra Matic 6T70 six-speed automatic transmission, which is equipped with drive-selectable Eco feature which alter the shift points and throttle to help optimize fuel.
2012 Cadillac SRX with new LFX, resulting in a 3.6 L direct-injected V6 that delivers an SAE certified 308 hp (230 kW) and 265 lb-ft of torque. This car features provide increased efficiency as well as direct injection and continuously variable valve timing. Peak torque is achieved at only 2.400 rpm and is maintained through 5.300 rpm. The LFX is also E85 ethanol-capable.
