2013 Dodge Ram 1500

The 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 is the latest innovation from the full-size Ram, the truck body architecture, designed and engineered to provide the emotional chords of “Guts and Glory” mindset of buyers and fans. In all kinds of functions, the 2013 Ram 1500 featuring bold ability, goodness and power-oriented is not there another class, but it does so, functionally and aesthetically, at different levels.

Big changes on the 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 will help deliver fuel economy in its class and an increase in the power and performance with award winning Chrysler Group Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine combined with the use of eight-speed TorqueFlite 8 transmission  in a pickup truck.

The 5.7-liter HEMI provides benefits in relation to the use of an eight-speed automatic transmission. The TorqueFlite 8 is available with a V8 engine and is equipped with features a higher capacity torque converter and is scheduled to be available at the end of 2012. Combined with eight-speed transmission, Ram 1500 models will offer a new start-stop feature that automatically shut off the engine when the truck actually stopped, saving fuel. The engine restarts if the drivers continue it.

For 2013, new features and technologies create an opportunity for a redesigned interior with material upgrades, improved fit and finish, all-new interior themes with different colors and materials, all-new HVAC controls and new multi-media systems. The 2013 Ram 1500 also features an exclusive eight-speed transmission with a new rotary e-shift dial design.
