The 2013 Ford Flex in this year provides a number of new updates on some features. In addition to the attractive exterior style, Ford has also added new standard or optional features, including also ventilated front seats, electronic interface that is MyFord Touch, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, automated parallel parking assist, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and inflatable second-row seatbelts. Other changes that is, the Ford Flex uses a more powerful V6 engine and electrically driven power steering on all models.

The 2013 Ford Flex is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 that can generate 285 hp and 255 pound feet of torque (increased from 262 hp and 248 lb-ft in the 2012). Front-wheel drive and six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control is a standard for this car. All-wheel drive is an option on the SEL and Limited. EPA fuel economy estimates are 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway and 20 mpg combined with front-wheel drive. Expect AWD to lower those estimates to 17/23/18.
