2013 Scion fr-s Concept

Launch of the 2013 Scion fr-s models with the spirit of the fans exciting sports car. With a maximum performance coupe market makes this car will go on sale in spring 2012. This car is a form of the fifth model of the Scion family. Scion fr-s implies the Front-Engine, Rear-Wheel Drive and Sport. Designing Scion fr-s inspired by AE86 with the aim of making this car as “Pure Balance”. The balance begins by using a flat boxer engine in the front-engine and rear-wheel drive. Size of the machinery and flat shape allows it to fitted mid-ship with a very low, thus providing a ratio of 53:47 front-to-back dynamic and low center of gravity compared to some other exotic cars.

2013 Scion fr-s 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine is the result of development between Toyota and Subaru. This cooperation began with the new engine combines Subaru and Toyota D-4S injection system that combines direct injection and port injection. D-4S system uses a compression ratio of around 12.5:1 which produces 200 hp and 151 pound-feet of torque.
