Lower center of gravity can produce an amazing character handling and combined with a lightweight Subaru BRZ chassis such as Subaru purpose is to “Handling Pure Delight”.

A design concept of the use of new-generation boxer engine, developed specifically for the 2013 Subaru BRZ to produce output in an efficient and environmentally friendly. Because the joint development between Subaru and Toyota Motor Corporation, Toyota direct injection and port injection technology D-4S incorporated in the power unit of Subaru BRZ. To achieve the “ultra-low center of gravity package”, the machine is made compact as adopting a shorter intake manifold and the shallower oil pan.

Interior design of  the 2013 Subaru BRZ allows a new level of fun to deliver a driving experience between the driver and vehicle into one. The steering wheel is made smaller in order to achieve sports car maneuverability. A tachometer with a digital speedometer display placed in the middle of the gauges, so the driver can view the information directly without diverting attention from the street.
